13th Annual Festival of Trees
Friday thru Sunday: Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida presents the 13th Annual Festival of Trees, an annual fundraiser that has become a holiday tradition in Southwest Florida for thousands of families. 7 and 9-foot decorated trees are raffled, along with gift baskets and wreaths for holiday decorating and gift-giving. From 11 am – 6 pm daily. NEW in 2019 – skate on synthetic ice among the trees! Held at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Fort Myers River District. Admission is just $2 per person.
Fort Myers Christmas in the Park
Friday: The Fort Myers Parks, Recreation & Special Eventsinvites you to take a break from Holiday shopping for “Christmas in the Park” at Centennial Park! From4 – 10 pm, this FREE event features bounce houses and other free activities for children, live performances and a free movie! At approximately 5 pm, Santa Claus will arrive by fire truck to visit with the children, so be sure and bring your cameras! For the grownups, the event will feature a performance of Holiday favorites. Mayor Randy Henderson will light the City’s Christmas Tree at approximately 6 pm. At 7:30 pm, enjoy a free movie featuring “The Santa Claus” starring Tim Allen. Concessions are available throughout the event. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy a great day at the Park. Free on-site parking is available.
Endless Trails Holiday Mini Horses
Saturday: Bring the family to Miromar Outlets from 12 – 2 pm. Keep an eye out for the Endless Trails holiday mini horses roaming the mall handing out candy canes to everyone on Santa’s Nice List. FREE to attend! For more information, please call: (239) 948-3766
Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Saturday: Come enjoy some Christmas spirit at the 31st Annual Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade! The parade from 6 – 8 pm will pass by such establishments as Bonita Bill’s, Original Shrimp Dock Bar & Grill, Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, Matanzas on the Bay, Nervous Nellies and Doc Fords. You will also be able to vote online for Best Decorated Boat. Enjoy a night on the water full of Christmas spirit and spectacular up-close views of the dazzling brightly lighted, and decorated watercrafts. It’s a fun and festive time along the waterway, where you may even see a few of Santa’s elves dancing aboard to some festive music. Cost to register a boat in the parade is $25 per boat.
