Fort Myers Boat Show 2019

Thursday thru Sunday: From Centennial Park to the Fort Myers City Yacht Basin, boats of all styles and sizes from over 130 manufacturers will be displayed on land and in the water at the 2019 Fort Myers Boat Show. Hundreds of accessory exhibits feature everything from engines and electronics to boat lifts, boating services, fishing gear, clothing and just about anything else you might need on the water. Open from 10 am – 6 pm Thursday thru Saturday and until 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is just $13 and children under 16 are free with a paid adult.


33rd Annual Sand Sculpting Championship

Friday thru Dec 1st: Get sandy on Fort Myers Beach for the 33rd Annual American Sand Sculpting Championship presented by the Seminole Casino Hotel through December 1st. This will be a fun-filled event that will include World Class Master Sand Sculptors, a State Championship contest, Amateur contest, Quick Sand Speed Sculpting, Sand Sculpting Demonstrations, a kids activity area, live music, and more than 50 vendors.
The event is scheduled for 10 days this year. In all, over 2000 tons of sand will be piled and sculpted. Make sure to stop by our new and improved photo booth Presented by GameTime, located near the front entrance for your FREE event photo. Ticket Prices
Prices are for one day’s admission: Ages 5 and up $8, Kids age 4 and under FREE,
Family pack for 2 adults and 2 children (ages 5-12) – $25, ‘Sand Under the Stars’ Admission – $5 (age 4 and under is FREE.)


Fort Myers Fair

Friday – Sunday: The Fair at Fenway South is back for 2019 at JetBlue Park at Fenway South! There will be fair and carnival entertainment including the classics such as carnival rides, games, petting zoos and carnival-style food from several vendors. Featured shows this year include a Pirate Show, Grizzly Bear Experience, a Magic Show, Hypnosis Show, and a Cowtown USA Show. Hours are Friday 5 – 10 pm; Saturday 1 – 10 pm; Sundays 1 – 10 pm. Admission: $8 per person ages 3 and up, Free for children ages 2 and younger. This is the last weekend of the fair.


Movie Night @ Jefferson Park

Friday: Join us for the FREE annual movie night at Jefferson Park featuring Secret Life of Pets 2 brought to us by the City of Fort Myers! Pack your chairs, blankets & appetite and join your neighbors for movie night! Arrive early to secure your spot, the movie starts at sundown! Joining us again this year: BurgerQue, Rollin’ Raw Bar, and Southern Snoballs! Parking is limited, please try and carpool, walk or bike!


Edison Ford Fall Garden Festival

Saturday & Sunday: Dozens of plant and garden vendors will have booths under the Banyan and other historic trees all around the museum and lab for the Fall Garden Fest. This is an opportunity to shop for hard-to-find plants that grow successfully in Southwest Florida from 9 am – 5 pm both days. The Edison Garden Shoppe will also have many plants, trees, herbs and garden-related items available for sale. Plant vendors and Edison Ford horticulturists will be on hand to answer gardening questions and help you with your selections. Food trucks and live music will be on-site too, so come out and spend the day shopping for plants! This FREE EVENT does not include tours of homes or admission to the museum and laboratory.
