PetSmart Donates Stuffed Animals to FMPD

The Fort Myers Police Department received a donation of stuffed animals on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from the Page Field PetSmart store to distribute to children in need.

Heather Ward and HT Miles from PetSmart delivered over 350 stuffed dogs, cats, unicorns and rabbits to the agency that customers had been purchasing as holiday gifts for children.

The furry toys will be distributed by patrol officers who visit deserving families along their routes to help brighten the holidays.

The stuffed toys will continue to be collected at PetSmart stores to replenish the supply for the next several weeks leading up to Christmas.
