FMPD Issues Silver Alert

The Fort Myers Police Department has issued a silver alert for a missing senior citizen. 70-year-old Susanne Joan Shrout has been reported missing by her daughter, Rachael Linnehan.

Shrout resides at 4589 Waterscape Lane and drives a black 1998 Lexus ES with Florida tag:  Y81-LJM. Neighbors report last seeing Strout on October 17, 2019, and she last spoke with her daughter at approximately 11 AM on that same day.

Shrout has Polio and was previously diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder.  Additionally, Linnehan reported that her mother has been driving away from her residence and then calls her for assistance navigating her way back home.  Shrout reportedly made statements of wanting to drive to Minnesota where she is originally from. 

Shrout is described as a white female approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing approximately 200 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes and needs crutches to walk with one leg shorter than the other.
