Oktoberfest at Fort Myers Brewing!
Through Sunday: Dust off your lederhosen and grab Das Boot, it’s time for Fort Myers Brewing’s 7th Annual Oktoberfest! In true Oktoberfest fashion, one day is not enough! So we are excited to bring you four days of partying, including over 50 specialty FMBrews, live music, food trucks, stein-hoisting competitions and for the first time ever, Wiener Dog Races! FREE entry! FMBrew is pet & family-friendly! While we have an outside and inside seating area, during our big events, we tend to fill up fast, so feel free to bring your own chair! Check out the FB event for details on the music, food trucks, etc. all weekend.
Calusa Haunted Walk 2019
Every Weekend in October: 35th annual Haunted Walk at Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium, Southwest Florida’s ONLY non-profit Haunted Walk. All proceeds support our mission of inspiring people to connect with nature! Come find out what’s lurking on our pitch black trails… our1/3 mile Pine Loop Trail is sure to make even the bravest scream. The Haunted Walk is recommended for those 16 years and older and is not for the faint of heart. Please use discretion if you have any serious medical conditions, as the walk takes you on our nature trails at night. Tickets are $15 per person. The fun starts at 7:30 pm each night.
Art WalkMystery Walk
Friday: A must do in the River District social scene is the monthly Art Walk. Always on the First Friday, visit the many exciting galleries, exhibitions, and performances. FREE to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials. Rain or shine, 6-10 pm.
Saturday:Millennial Brewing has collected the best group of food trucks and restaurants in the STATE and brought them here for a one-day celebration of the best food on the planet… PIZZA FEST!!! Expect tons of pizza and pizza-themed dishes along with over 30 craft beers available to drink with it! Live music, pet-friendly, family-friendly. From 4 – 10 pm.
SWFL Pride 2019
Saturday & Sunday: Join the 11th annual SWFL Pride! This year’s theme is “Proud to Be . . .” SWFL Pride is a family-friendly event that includes live entertainment, plenty of food and drinks, and the opportunity to learn about local organizations and businesses who support the LGBTQ community. Suggested $5 donation at the door. Parking is FREE and available onsite. Location is the Alliance for the Arts on Saturday. Official Brunch & Tea Dance Party is Sunday from noon to 6 pm at Society Restaurant & Lounge at Bell Tower Shops. Brunch will be from noon to 3 pm downstairs and the Tea Dance will be from 2-7 pm upstairs in the Treehouse with Grammy-nominated Billboard Reporting Producer/DJ Chris Cox.
