FMPD Seeks Information on Car Jacking Suspect

The Fort Myers Police Department is seeking witnesses to a carjacking incident that occurred near the intersection of Six-mile Cypress Parkway and Colonial Boulevard at approximately 11:28 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. 

A witness reported that a black male in his mid to late 20’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, ran up to a dark brown 2014 Honda CRV and ordered the driver out of the vehicle.

The carjacker was seen heading towards Colonial Boulevard and turning right heading westbound, then turning right onto Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard. A witness reported that the SUV headed to I-75 where it was last seen traveling North on the interstate.

The vehicle has damage to the front passenger window and a mickey mouse soccer ball antenna topper with a Florida tag beginning with EAZ.
