Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying and tracking down an armed suspect who held up a Lee County convenience store early this morning.
Shortly after 3:40 a.m., an unidentified Hispanic male entered the Circle K store, located at 20021 Summerlin Road. With a firearm in hand, he approached the store clerk and demanded cash from both the register and safe. In fear for her life, the clerk complied. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot.
Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
