FMPD Swears in Three New Officers and a Cold Case Investigator

On August 16, 2019, the Fort Myers Police Department held a swearing-in ceremony to welcome three new police officers and a cold case investigator to the department’s ranks.

In front of an audience of friends, family, fellow officers and city officials, Chief Derrick Diggs welcomed the recruits to their new positions. The event was held at the Southwest Florida Community Foundation Collaboratory for Officers William Beaton, Christopher Mocci, David Brito and Cold Case Investigator Richard Harasym.
