Fort Myers Police Seek Deputy Sheriff Impersonator

The Fort Myers police department is requesting assistance in identifying/locating a male who entered LA #1 Check Cashing Store at 4019 Palm Beach Boulevard on 6/21/2019. 

The subject was dressed in a generic Florida style Deputy Sheriff uniform. He attempted to gain entry to the rear of the business by stating that he was responding to a call for service.  The male pictured is wearing a Sheriff’s-style uniform, complete with badge, semi-automatic pistol, and radio. 

The male left the area in a silver Chrysler 200 after employees denied him access. 

Do not approach or try to apprehend the male, as he is armed.
