C.O.A.C.H. (Community Outreach Against Child Hunger) is a community outreach project designed by members of the Fort Myers Police Department. The program supplies children and families of Franklin Park Elementary, a week of daily dinners each month of the school year.
On Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 4 – 7 pm the Millennium Brewery at 1811 Royal Palm Avenue (in downtown Fort Myers) will host the second family-friendly fundraiser and silent auction for C.O.A.C.H. The three-hour event will feature a 50/50 drawing, raffle prizes food trucks, kid’s area and a variety of silent auctions items.
Some of the donated silent auction items are: Disney & Sea World vacations, Southwest Airline tickets, Red Sox Dustin Pedroia autographed baseball, NFL memorabilia from various teams, an annual Useppa Island membership, various hotel stays locally and in Orlando, kid’s bicycles, boat rental and much more!
All proceeds raised will be used to purchase fresh and non-perishable food items that are distributed to families in need.
The C.O.A.C.H. program is coordinated by Sergeant Jackie Garrett who accepts donations of food, auction items
