FMPD Searching for Child Attempted Child Abductor

Thursday, February 28, 2019, at approximately 4:45 pm, a Hispanic male approached a female child in the area of Linhart and Cortez Boulevards and attempted to lure the child into his vehicle. 

The male then attempted to force the child into the vehicle by brandishing a firearm.  The child was able to escape and was unharmed. 

The vehicle was described as a black, four-door pickup.  The male has been described as approximately six feet tall, wearing a black t-shirt, grey pants, and black shoes with white laces.  He is described as having a snake tattoo on his forearm and additional tattoos on his shoulders and neck.
