Art Walk

Friday: A must do in the River District social scene is the monthly Art Walk. Always on the First Friday, visit the many exciting galleries, exhibitions, and performances. FREE to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials. Rain or shine, 6-10 pm.


Film Friday Outdoor Movie

Friday: What’s more terrifying than a horror film? Watching it in the Pitch. Black. Woods. Come join us from 7 – 11 pm for Film Friday at Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium for some Horror in the Woods. If you get too scared, you can relax by our campfire or grab a beer from Millennial Brewing Company. Bring your lawn chair or blanket to set up in front of the screen. Admission is FREE, but donations are much appreciated.  


Free Kids Fishing

Saturday: Free kids fishing from 10 am – 1 pm at Bass Pro Shops! Don’t forget to come on out enjoy the morning with the kids fishing. As an added bonus, we will have FGCU’s fishing team with us to help the kids out. We have the rods, the reels, and the bait, you supply the kids!!
