Art Walk

Friday:  A must do in the River District social scene is the monthly Art Walk. Always on the First Friday, visit the many exciting galleries, exhibitions, and performances. FREE to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials. Rain or shine, 6-10 pm.


Free Kids Fishing

Saturday:  Join Bass Pro Shops the 1st Saturday of every month for our FREE Kid’s Fishing event! We supply the rods, reels, bait, and knowledge, just bring your sense of adventure. To participate, simply meet us at the lake behind the store. This event begins at 10 am and ends at 1 pm.

5th Annual WINK Taste of Lee

Saturday:  The Taste of Lee, presented by WINK TV, is a food festival held at Centennial Park from 11 AM to Sunset. The event features a variety of Lee County’s finest restaurants, as well as music and exciting activities for the entire family. Admission is $10 and all tasting items are priced between $1 and $5. Pick your favorite food or sample something new. Taste of Lee has something for everyone. Liquor proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.


Salute To The Brave – Hero Project

Saturday:  Join us at Six Bends for the 3rd Annual Salute to the Brave HERO PROJECT Reveal! We’ll start with a parade from Fort Myers Police Department to #SixBends, lining up at 9:30 am and leaves promptly 10:00 am. Upon arrival, we’ll have the Honor Ceremony with the Honor Guard, National Anthem and ROTC Performance. We’ll reveal two local hero builds including Fallen Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller. Stop by to enjoy our truck and jeep show, food trucks: Dave’s Bangin’ BBQ and Cajun Gringos, vendors and live music by Live and Learn and Unforgiven Country Band. Admission and parking are FREE


36th Annual Taste of the Town

Sunday:  Taste of the Town is the signature fundraiser of the Junior League of Fort Myers and will be from 11 am -5 pm at Alliance for the Arts.  Restaurants from all over Southwest Florida serve “tastes” of their best dishes alongside beer, wine, local bands, and an array of children’s entertainment and activities. Giving back never tasted so good, as proceeds from the event support community services program of the Junior League of Fort Myers. From work with at-risk youth to programs in literacy, we work hard to serve the community, and your attendance at Taste matters!  General admission tickets are $10 at the event (children under 12 FREE.)
