Animals and the Arts

Thursday:  Celebrate with Gulf Coast Humane Society at the Alliance for the Arts from 6-8 pm and enjoy an evening of love of pets during the “Animals and the Arts” event. The event will highlight pets presented in a variety of different art mediums – including photography, canvas, music and film. The two hours of festivities will include the “Furry Friends Displayed in Art” Juried Exhibit, reception music by the Gulf Coast Symphony and a featured educational documentary showing entitled “Rescue For Paws”. The event will be attended by GCHS’ adoptable furry ambassadors, to make sure everyone can scratch that puppy-love itch! Music brought to you by Gulf Coast Symphony. $20, with hors-d’oeuvres included. There will be a cash bar available as well. artinlee.org/event/paws/

Bike Night

Thursday:  Join us at the Shell Factory on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5-10 pm for Bike Night.

Music Walk

Friday:  Enjoy great sounds during a casual evening in the Downtown Fort Myers River District! Music Walk is FREE to Attend.  Fun for the whole family!  Starts at 6 pm each month.

Vintage Market Days

Friday thru Sunday:  Vintage Market Days of South Gulf Coast Florida will be hosting their fall event at the Lee County Civic Center. Vintage Market Days is a juried event with vendors based on variety, originality, and quality of goods sold. Vendor selection is designed to provide customers with not only the highest quality of vendors but with a collection of vendors who compliment one another in such a way to create The Vintage Experience. There will be antiques, clothing, jewelry, furniture, live music, food trucks, vendors, salvaged and repurposed finds.  Friday: 10am-5pm, Saturday: 10am-5pm,
Sunday: 10am-4pm.  Admission: $10 for adults and children ages 13 and older for all 3 days. $5 for adults and children ages 13 and older for Saturday and Sunday.

SWFL Peace Day

Sunday:  A day of celebrating Peace at Alliance for the Arts. And Helping it grow. A community event In honor of the International Day of Peace. Peace starts with us. In our hearts, our homes and our neighborhoods. A FREE event for the whole family, even your pets, from 10 am – 6 pm! Canned and dried goods and supplies collected for our neighbors AND pets in need, as well as a Blood drive for “peace blood” to save local lives.  Be part of the Change that’s all around us right here in SWFL. Awesome live music, art, vendors, pet adoption, yoga, face painting, teen art area, meditations, crafts, lots of yummy food, raffles, education, workshops and a whole bunch of fun.
