Fort Myers Beach 4th of July Parade and Fireworks

10 am – 9:30 pm:  Come celebrate our great nation and town pride as the Fort Myers Beach 4th of July parade makes it way down Estero Blvd with its colorful floats and costumed participants! The parade starts at Bay Oaks Recreation Center at 10 am and continues down the boulevard to Times Square. ***The Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 9 am until 12 pm for the parade. *** After the parade will be the patriotic event at Times Square from 12 pm-2 pm. Activities include patriotic crafts, a watermelon eating contest and a dunk tank. At approximately 8:45 pm, the Fort Myers Beach 4th of July fireworks show is scheduled at Times Square. Please bring a chair or blanket. *** Closing time for the Matanzas Pass bridge is 9:30 pm – 11 pm to oncoming traffic. You’ll be able to get off the island but not on. ***

4th of July at the Lani Kai!

All Day Long:  Come spend the Fourth of July at the Lani Kai! With so many great spots throughout the resort for so many people, there’s truly something for everyone here! 
Downstairs throughout the day, enjoy beach games, prizes, and fun, with the rum-runners, Miami Vices and Val’s Miami Blues flowin’ along, live DJ and plenty of fun for kids of all ages. And our top-floor Sun Deck boasts the best place to watch the enormous fireworks display that evening, set to go off at 9 p.m. Come up, enjoy live tunes, a beautiful view, delicious food and drinks, and the one and only rooftop spot for seeing the fireworks display!

Freedom Fest

4 pm – 10 pm:  The Fort Myers River District Alliance would like to present Freedom Fest! Come enjoy free and family-friendly fun down in front of the waterfront on Edwards Drive. Activities and entertainment will include DJ Tom Brooks and Titan of Rock – Journey & Bon Jovi Tribute Band. There will be a family fun zone, food trucks, and trinket vendors. We will have a special viewing area specifically for Veterans. Fireworks start at 9:30!

Independence Day Celebration

7 – 10 pm:  Join the Miracle Baseball team for an Independence Day Celebration! Free admission for veterans!  Independence Day food and drink specials will be available during the game, followed by a post-game firework show! The Miracle players will be wearing special USA themed jerseys available for auction. Proceeds will go to charity. Don’t miss one of the biggest nights of the season! Celebrate 4th of July with Neon Summer

7 – 11 pm:  Celebrate Independence Day with Neon Summer at Society.  Neon Summer is a country vocal group consisting of Marty Short, Angela Short, and Anna Ash. The band formed in their home state of Virginia, leading to performances at the legendary Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, and a stand out show on The Grand Ole Opry. The band has opened on tour for Keith Urban, Eric Paslay, Josh Turner, Charley Daniels, Marty Stuart, and many other top names in Country music. Come see them LIVE in the #Treehouse at #SocietyFtMyers
