Friday & Saturday: Come hungry to the 5th Annual Florida Bar-B-Que Association sanctioned Smoke on the Water Barbecue Competition and Music Festival! Teams from across the Southeast will prepare their most succulent barbecue in hopes of winning the grand champion prize. Browse local retail vendors, enjoy delicious barbecue, and listen to great bands. Watch the young ones have a blast in the Kids Zone! Free General Admission! A 2 Day Event! Avengers Meet & Greet
Friday: Get your tickets to see Infinity War at AMC Merchants Crossing 16 Theaters and then come meet the Avengers before you see the movie. Photos are free, but donations to Donate4kidz.org will be appreciated the night of the event. Donate4kidz Foundation – We Care Packages is an amazing organization dedicated to foster families in SWFL. From 6 – 8 pm you will get to meet: Captain Marvel, Captain America, Bucky, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Scarlett Witch, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Maria Hill, And several Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Relay For Life
Saturday: Relay For Life is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Support the survivors in your life, and honor those who lost their fight. From 10 am – 10 pm at Lakes Regional Park. Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer. Join these events to bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
Law in the Mall Legal Clinic
Saturday: The Lee County Bar Association will hold their 9th annual Law in the Mall Legal Clinic at the Edison Mall. Join us to receive free legal advice from 10 am – 2 pm and to meet one-on-one with attorney volunteers. There’s no pre-qualifying necessary, just bring relevant paperwork with you.
Safe Kids Day Lee County
Saturday: Safe Kids Southwest Florida is hosting a fun family event from 11 am -2 pm at Gulf Coast Town Center to celebrate kids and help families learn more about how to prevent injuries and then take steps to make their kids safer. Children and parents will participate in fun games and activities. They will also learn how to stay safe on the road, in the home and at play.
