Shop For Success

Friday:  Don’t miss this benefit for Dress for Success SW FloridaIt’s the shopping event you have been waiting for! Shop for Success will feature 5,000 square feet of clothing in sizes 00 to 26 and accessories; including dresses, tops, pants, skirts, suits, jackets, shoes, handbags, scarves and jewelry starting at $5.00. This year, White House Black Market and Chico’s will again be prominently featured as part of the sale. Early admission General admission is free from 5 – 9 pm.   Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops at 13051 Bell Tower Drive.

Yappy Hour

Friday:  Bell Tower Shops and the Gulf Coast Humane Society have partnered to host a football-themed, “Furry Fans” Yappy Hour block party from 6 to 8 p.m. at Center Court. Pet lovers are invited to bring their four-legged friends out to play and enjoy an evening of fun at the dog-friendly shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Yappy Hour will also feature a costume contest to name the “furriest fan” and owners and their pets are invited to dress up to represent their favorite football teams, and the contest’s winning dog and owner will receive a prize. An on-site $5 donation to the Gulf Coast Humane Society is requested per dog to enter. 

4th Annual Veterans Day Parade

Saturday:  The River District Alliance is pleased to host the fourth annual Veterans Parade in the River District from 11 am – 1 pm. The parade will begin on Jackson Street at the American Legion and will proceed through the streets (Main Street, Hendry Street & First Street) of downtown ending with a commemorative program in front of the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. Guests are invited to line the streets to view the parade.

Salute to the Brave: HERO PROJECT

Saturday:  To celebrate Veteran’s Day on Nov. 11, Top Rocker Field at Six Bends Harley Davidson will be transformed to host Salute to the Brave: HERO PROJECT, benefiting AVOW. Festival-goers should sport their red, white and blue to experience the awe-inspiring Battle of the Brigades. Attendees can count on plenty of fun with live music, food truck favorites and a variety of veteran vendors. The Hero Project Giveaway and Savage 4×4 will award two individuals with Jeeps and one person with a truck. Salute to the Brave is free to the public from 11 am – 3 pm.

Mickey & Minnie Meet & Greet Toddler Time

Sunday:  Come out and MEET the characters Mickey & Minnie at Skyzone Fort Myers! Take photos and play! Toddler Time is a great shared experience for child and parent. A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids. WEDNESDAYS 10 AM – 12 PM & SUNDAYS 9 AM – 11 AM. Toddler $12.99 and one adult free. Ages 7 and under – if they can walk they can jump!  Skyzone is located at 14181 S Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers.
